In 2020 an Australian Government Department sought to streamline its technology buying process, for the thousands of organizations it serves.
The organisation frequently uses Governmental panels to help its constituency select verified vendors for the supply of technology. Despite the panels, their customers had varying levels of technological maturity, which was placed under pressure during COVID. This created a need to fully embrace technology.
An internal eCommerce solution was designed to enable a more simplistic approach to buying technology across its diverse customer-base.
The platform and supporting tools would allow customers to test their current technology maturity, provide recommendations, and allow search features to recommend technology solution or vendor, that will best fit their needs.
The organization wanted to drive cost efficiencies and Adobe’s Magento eCommerce solution was defined as the best-fit platform.
We were commissioned to deliver the eCommerce implementation, which is expected to be completed at the end of 2021.
